About Me |
I am based in Stockholm, Sweden. I live in a treehouse, tucked into the branches of an oak tree, and with pink roses climbing around the doorway. |
About My Designs |
I’m an artist (illustrator, surface pattern designer, painter) writer and teacher. Everything I create comes from a sense of wonder, that brings a sensuous joie de vive to my art. Colour and I have an endless love affair! The result is a bold and expressive, funky and clean aesthetic. |
Origin of Inspiration |
Magic, transformation, Scandinavian design, nature, history, distortion, futurism, distortion, fusion, mythology and magnified moments. |
My country typical designs |
Josef Frank, Marimekko, Alvar Aalto, and Stig Lindberg are some of the Scandinavian designers who I am inspired by. I'm also inspired by William Morris, Liberty and art deco tiles. |
Other works |
I paint, illustrate and make patterns. When I am not designing, you can find me balcony gardening, in a thrift store, travelling, at a museum, cooking, learning or dreaming up something new. |
