About Me |
After I spent my time realizing photography projects for several years I headed to new creative opportunities by starting a correspondence course for graphic design at the Grafikakademie in Witten. Once I completed the studies successfully in 2014 I found the book "Designing Patterns" which was written by the Swedish illustrator Lotta Kühlhorn. I was very inspired by this book and started to design my own patterns. |
About My Designs |
I have developed my own method for designing patterns by converting a photo into a vector graphic, cutting an interesting piece of the vector grahpic, copying, mirroring, rotating the pieces and putting the individual pieces together. I repeat this process several times until I end up with an exciting pattern. Most of my patterns are created in this way. |
